ISTE-
The Indian Society
for Technical Education
The
Indian Society for Technical Education is a national,
professional, non-profit making Society registered under the
Societies Registration Act of 1860. First started in 1941 as the
Association of Principals of Technical Institutions (APTI), it
was converted into "Indian Society for Technical Education" in
1968 with a view to enlarge its activities to advance the cause
of technological education. The major objective of the ISTE is
to assist and contribute in the production and development of
top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the
industries and other organizations.
A.V.C.C.E. established its ISTE local chapter for the promotion
of faculty members and ISTE students chapter for the refinement
of our budding Technocrats.

Youth Red Cross
As a part of indian Red Cross, We
have a unit of Youth Red Cross members. The members are involved in several service activities like, conducting medical wareness camps in rural area in and around our location. Blood donation, helping the traffic police in controlling the traffic in the town, conference on self employment etc. The members are also allowed to attend conference at various places of our country.

National Service Scheme
The
objective of this scheme is 'development of personality of
students through community service'. This enables the
students to

Understand the community
in which they work.

Develop among themselves
a sense of social and civil responsibility.

Apply their education in
finding practical solutions to individual & community
problems.

Acquire leadership
qualities and democratic attitude.
The organization established 3 NSS units under the
leadership of NSS officers and active participation of 300
NSS volunteers.

Red Ribbon Club
The
objective of this scheme is create awareness about AIDS
among young generation.
