In 2001, the Department of M.Sc., Programmes (Software Engineering & Information Technology) was formed in A.V.C College of Engineering. The Department has spacious lab with Internet facility and all the latest Softwares. Our department has been harvesting numerous distinction holders every year. Industrial trips are arranged every year to various gateways and also Anna University Syllabus to cater to the academic needs of students. The tools of computers are needed in every field to design, manufacture and to improve the product value. Modern industry requires the IT professionals who can design products, integrating the concepts of technology, software and hardware, so we impart value-based IT education to the students and develop their knowledge.
