The Department of Computer Applications provides a good theoretical foundation through high quality technical education complemented by extensive practical training.

Department regularly invites leading personalities from IT industry to address the students on latest development of ICT Arena.

MCA programme has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (AICTE-NBA) for the period of three years during 2012-15.

As a part of research initiations, faculty members are regularly receiving grants from leading funding agencies.

Department has been recognized as a research centre by Anna University, Chennai for pursuing Ph.D and M.S (By Research) programmes in the discipline of Computer Applications and CSE and also got permanent affiliation from Anna University.

Students secured 55 Anna University Ranks from the Inception including Anna University first rank.

Students placed in MNCs like Wipro,TCS,Infosys,HCL, Chain-Sys, Fony Technologies and etc.

About the Club

Coding Club is a platform where the students will be able to develop and learn various skills like, Computer coding and Application development .The club is focusing on conducting events like program coding, debugging and workshop for the students for our students to improve their coding and analytical, problem solving skills and techniques.
