As per the guidelines given by the Governments, both State and Central, and various agencies like UGC, AICTE, Anna University this committee has been constituted in AVC College of Engineering.     • Ragging is strictly prohibited inside and outside the campus as per UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009 and AICTE (Grievance Redressal) Regulations, 2019. Any student found indulging in ragging, abetting, or participating in ragging activities is liable for disciplinary action including expulsion from the institute. The official Anti-Ragging Committee (ARC) policy guidelines are reproduced below for reference of all students and parents.

    Anti-Ragging awareness programmes, pledge campaigns, and orientation sessions are conducted by the committee at the beginning of every academic year for all fresher students. Events are typically held in August–September to coincide with the commencement of the first semester. Anti-ragging squad patrols are conducted on a regular basis to ensure a ragging-free campus environment.
