2 nd International Conference on Innovative Research in Engineering and Technology (ICIRET-2026)
The 2nd International Conference on Innovative Research in Engineering and Technology (ICIRET-2026) was successfully organized by the Department of Information Technology at A.V.C. College of Engineering on 27th March 2026. The conference served as a dynamic platform for academicians, researchers, and industry professionals to present and exchange cutting-edge ideas and advancements in the field of engineering and technology.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Justice Shri K. Venkataraman, Judge- Administrator of A.V.C. Institutions, who formally declared the conference open. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of innovation-driven research and its impact on societal and technological development. The event was graced by the presence of Director Dr. M. Senthilmurugan, Principal Dr. P. Balasubramanian, Head of the Department Dr. V. Padmavathi, and Conference Coordinator Dr. K. Aruna, whose guidance and support played a crucial role in organizing the conference.
ICIRET-2026 witnessed an overwhelming response, with 111 research papers presented across various technical sessions. These papers reflected innovative ideas, practical solutions, and emerging trends contributed by participants from more than 26 academic institutions and 6 industries. The conference was conducted in a hybrid mode, enabling both in-person and virtual participation, thereby enhancing accessibility and fostering global collaboration.
The conference featured five specialized technical tracks, designed to cover diverse domains of engineering and technology:
Each track facilitated in-depth discussions and knowledge sharing, encouraging participants to engage with contemporary research challenges and solutions.
The conference concluded with a valedictory session delivered by Dr. M. Aramudhan, Principal of Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Karaikal. In his address, he appreciated the efforts of the organizers and participants, and highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary research in shaping the future of technology.
During the valedictory function, certificates were distributed to all participants, acknowledging their valuable contributions. The Best Paper Awards were also presented to recognize exceptional research work that demonstrated originality, technical depth, and practical relevance.
Overall, ICIRET-2026 was a grand success, fostering innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence while providing a vibrant forum for sharing knowledge and advancing research in engineering and technology.
