The Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Club has been established with the objective of fostering awareness and cultivating a culture of safety and preparedness among students. The club promotes active involvement in initiatives that encourage environmental responsibility, health, and safety practices, thereby reducing the adverse impact of disasters.
Through its activities—such as tree plantation drives, blood donation camps, cleanliness initiatives in public places and temple premises, awareness campaigns, and regular mock drills—the club provides students with meaningful opportunities to contribute to both campus and community resilience. By engaging in these initiatives, students not only develop practical knowledge of disaster risk management but also nurture a sense of social responsibility and community service, ultimately working towards the vision of a safer and more resilient society.
